Ben the BULL

Ben the Bull is the spokeperson for the MOO Bullying Prevention Program. He uses the acronym BULL to teach children a quick and easy way to remember how to handle bullies.

B- Be assertive. Tell the bully to stop what he/she is doing and that you don't like it!

U- Use humor. For example, if a bully says you have a big head, say something like "I have a big head because I have a big brain. That's why I'm so smart!"

L- Let someone help you. If you are in trouble, don't be afraid to ask for help or to let someone help you.

L- Love yourself and others. Bullies are usually people who are hurting emotionally and need someone to talk to. If you respect and love yourself and others, that will help others love and respect you.
